Tokenized treasuries and money market funds are starting to work as onchain collateral. But they're the simplest asset class to solve for: liquid, easy to price, and straightforward to liquidate. The harder problem is regulated, restricted securities: assets with lockups, redemption gates, and compliance rules that vary by investor and jurisdiction. These represent the vast majority of global capital, and existing DeFi infrastructure wasn't designed for them. To make these assets productive, compliance must go beyond issuance: extending through collateralization, risk monitoring, and resolution. That's the essence of the credit layer we're building.
