@Telegraph We are forced to cover the costs of social housing and in-work benefits for foreign care workers and their multiple dependents. Worse - our elderly and vulnerable citizens are forced to suffer abuse by these third-world imports.

I absolutely detest how our country has been allowed to overflow with rubbish. The countryside filled with plastic. It is everywhere. Every roadside, caked with filth. We shouldn’t accept it as normal. It is not normal. It is vile. Clearly there needs to be a central clean up effort, but actually? The key message is this. PUT YOUR RUBBISH IN A BIN. People need to take responsibility. It’s disgusting.

Neonatal nurse who faked qualifications jailed for five years. A woman who lied about her experience and qualifications to get a job as a senior nurse on a Welsh neonatal unit has been jailed for five years. Tanya Nasir (then 45, from Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire) was hired as a Band 7 Ward Manager on the neonatal unit at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend. This senior role involved overseeing care for newborn infants, including premature and critically ill babies.

@ukhomeoffice There were fewer than 10,000 enforced returns last year. 41,472 Channel migrants arrived that year. You're not even close to keeping up with the dinghy invasion, let alone clearing the backlog of visa overstayers, failed asylum seekers and foreign criminals.
