Im tired of Joe Paterno being left off these lists because cowards. Here is a list of scandals & incidents involving each coach in the graphic including Paterno. Nick Saban Saban's career was largely free of major NCAA scandals, but Alabama was criticized for oversigning, aggressive roster management, and occasional secondary recruiting violations. More recently, he made headlines for public disputes over NIL and the transfer portal. Bear Bryant Bryant's infamous "Junction Boys" training camp became a symbol of extreme coaching methods, and his programs faced occasional allegations of improper recruiting. He was also criticized for coaching at Alabama during an era when the school was slow to integrate. Bryant was racist & would not play African American players. Knute Rockne Rockne's career was remarkably free of significant scandals. Most criticism centered on the rough recruiting environment of the early 1900s rather than any misconduct on his part. Bobby Bowden Bowden's Florida State program was hit with a major academic cheating scandal that resulted in NCAA sanctions and vacated wins. Tom Osborne Osborne faced lasting criticism for allowing star players like Lawrence Phillips and Christian Peter to remain with the team despite serious criminal allegations. His fiery temper had been well known throughout his coaching career, but that incident ultimately cost him his job. Dabo Swinney Swinney has avoided major NCAA scandals but has faced criticism for his resistance to NIL and the transfer portal. Urban Meyer Meyer was suspended at Ohio State after failing to properly handle domestic abuse allegations involving assistant coach Zach Smith. Barry Switzer Switzer's Oklahoma program became synonymous with NCAA violations, player arrests, and drug-related controversies during the 1980s. Despite tremendous success on the field, the Sooners developed one of college football's most controversial reputations. Kirby Smart Smart's biggest controversy has been Georgia's repeated reckless driving and street racing incidents involving players and staff, including a fatal crash in 2023. Although the program has not received major NCAA sanctions, critics have questioned its culture and discipline regarding player behavior. 38 players have been arrested etc in the last five years. Joe Paterno Paterno became linked to the scandal because a graduate assistant reported to him in 2001 that he had witnessed Sandusky sexually abusing a young boy in a Penn State facility, and Paterno passed the information to university administrators but did not go directly to police or child welfare authorities. The key issue was not that Paterno was accused of abusing anyone himself. The controversy centered on whether he did enough after learning of the allegation

The Ash defense installation was a disaster with players walking around palms up in front of 80,000.
