@logreim @TheBigTenHuddle You asked what they’ve done to be ranked 2. I provided answers ( performance on the field with a ton of returning talent - yes including 2024 players - and elite roster build). The fact that they got screwed out of a playoff spot in December by the SEC bias is irrelevant.

I understand they’re returning a lot of talent but they missed the playoffs last year. I think they’re a really good team but not worthy of being ranked 2nd to start

@NickyPerks The past two seasons we experienced were significantly better. To go from 3-9 to out of nowhere a playoff team… it was insane. And then the follow year to go 16-0, win natty, and have the heisman.

This is what most don't understand. Sure 8% BCR, but 27 players were 5th/6th year (7 starters) and 9 players were 4th year players. Only 6 starters were 2nd/3rd year. Were when Kirby took his 63% BCR team to a natty, there weren't any 5th or 6th year players.
