I’m still learning myself, but if I could offer some advice To draw faces well, you first need to understand the overall form of the face. In the beginning, it’s important to look at references on sites like Pinterest and practice drawing faces from different angles—front, left, right, above, and below. If you try to create from imagination right away, it probably won’t turn out the way you want. If you find it difficult to construct the basic face structure, I recommend the YouTube channel @Chommang. They explain how to draw faces from various angles in a very easy-to-understand way. Then, once you’ve learned the basic structure, try applying the eyes, nose, and mouth from an art style you like. To draw cute facial features, the only way is to keep studying and copying the stylized (deformed) features you like until you develop a sense for it. For hair, don’t think of it as individual strands. It’s much easier to break it down into four main sections: bangs, sides, and the back. For falling hair, it helps to think of it as ribbon-like surfaces rather than separate strands. If you keep practicing, you’ll definitely get the hang of it. In the beginning, make sure to use lots of references and study artworks from artists you like.
