Dunning Kruger Effect is our tendency to overestimate our competence than what is our actual ability. I’d like to add two more equally harmful effects : 1. We underestimate people’s competency whom we look down upon ( in our mind) as below our socio-economic status 2. Our ego-envy wants to outshine others ( specially peers) than to build them up. The combination of all these 3 effects is one of the root cause of failures and unhappiness ( even if we are successful). #success #Happiness #failures

Electrons absorbs ( takes) the energy and jumps to a higher energy level. In the reverse process, emission, the electron returns to the ground state by releasing ( giving) the extra energy it absorbed. Same thing for humans, we take and give energy as we move up and down various states throughout the day, like electrons. Give and Take are inherent in how the universe works.
