Independent England.. Engdependence!

Scottish independence would make the world a more peaceful place. Any independence settlement would have to address Scotland’s share of the UK’s armed forces, its weapons, equipment, aircraft, ships, submarines, and nuclear arsenal. Those nuclear weapons are based on Scottish soil. It’s only logical that what sits in Scotland should be Scotland’s to decide the fate of. An independent Scotland could work with international partners to remove and decommission them. Scotland has no desire to invade anyone, no interest in projecting military power across the globe, and no appetite for weapons of mass destruction. A newly independent country wouldn’t inherit the UK’s enemies or its imperial hangovers. It wouldn’t be tied to wars, interventions, or nuclear brinkmanship carried out in its name. So if you actually want a more peaceful world, one with fewer nuclear weapons. A deluded government clinging to outdated fantasies of empire neutered by having its main weapons of mass destruction removed then supporting Scottish independence is the obvious choice
