This Afternoon around 12pm, I was in the room when I heard a loud bang and scream on the door "Mummy open the door" it was my son, my heart went numb for a moment and my brain goes blank... I fly out of the room and rushed to open the door, i asked Yanmife where is Michelle he replied, see her here... Where because i no see my daughter but i trust him anyways 😭😭 So apparently they heard a repeated gun shots around their school area, so all the school owners has to release the children to go before things went south, my son hid his sister under his school uniform and use his cardigan to tie her then hold her tightly while he pick race running home. (It was an emotional moment when he was untying himself to bring out his sister) 😭😭😭 Immediately Michelle was out, she said mummy we run 😭😭 Ayo now keep me under his cloth and said Michelle don't talk ooo just keep quiet and hold me tight I want to tie you to myself 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 No school bag, no lunch box he just left everything and run. Is this the actual way to live? Ehn? This is the fate of school children in the Northern and some southern part of Nigeria currently. Tinubu must resign!

Made in ABA in Igbo land. I bought this pair of footwear in 2024, and to my greatest surprise, it has completely changed my perception of Made in Aba products. Despite the negative things some people say about Aba-made shoes, this footwear is still in excellent condition today. I personally used it for over one year and six months before handing it over to my younger brother. Throughout that period, it was used almost every day, including for bathing, yet it has neither torn nor required any repair from a shoemaker. That level of durability speaks for itself. My honest assessment is that Aba manufacturers are capable of producing world-class, long-lasting products. The quality you get often depends on the specifications you request and the capital invested in production. The same principle applies globally. China, for example, produces both low-quality and premium products depending on the buyer's budget and requirements. Aba remains one of the greatest manufacturing hubs in Africa, driven by the creativity, skill, and resilience of Igbo entrepreneurs and craftsmen. Instead of looking down on locally made products, we should support and promote them because they create jobs, drive innovation, and strengthen our economy. The talent in Igbo land is undeniable. Give an Igbo craftsman the right tools, resources, and market, and he can compete with the best in the world. Igbo to the world. Aba made, globally respected.

Today, we concluded another partnership with Sterling Bank to launch the Sterling Bank National Mathematics Quiz. A nationwide competition designed to discover, reward, and celebrate Nigeria’s brightest young minds. Starting Saturday, June 20, 2026, students from Primary 1 to SS3 across Nigeria will compete online every two weeks for the prizes. 1st Prize – ₦500,000 2nd Prize – ₦300,000 3rd Prize – ₦200,000 That’s ₦1,000,000 every two weeks and ₦24,000,000 every year dedicated solely to rewarding academic excellence among Nigerian children. But this is not just about winning money. It is about building a culture where intelligence is celebrated. It is about giving every child, whether in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Bayelsa, Maiduguri, Aba, or a remote village, an opportunity to compete on a national stage. Competition Schedule • Every two weeks • Saturdays • 6:00 PM – 6:20 PM • Online nationwide The top performers will then advance to a live championship session streamed online next day same time, where Nigerians can watch some of the country’s brightest students solve challenging mathematical problems in real time. To ensure fairness and give more students the opportunity to benefit, every student can only win once. And here’s what makes it even better: Every participant will be able to review their questions after the competition, identify their weaknesses, learn from their mistakes, and prepare for the next challenge. This means that even students who don’t win become better mathematicians. Parents, teachers, school owners, and students should begin preparing immediately. The questions will be tough and the competition will be fierce. Registration is now open: exams.educare.school/login/invite/e… Please share this with every child, parent, teacher, school owner, principal, and education stakeholder you know. Let’s make academic excellence prestigious again.

Guys!! It’s cold very outside! I just stepped outside my house to feel it. And if it’s this cold in Lagos, it’s colder in Ibadan and much even colder in the bushes! These children and their teachers are shivering right now! This is their 27th night! God!😭😭
