As a man, I agree that the guy should lead and dictate, but you shouldn't invite a girl over or book a hotel without first making your intentions clear.
Before anything, you're supposed to let her know it's 50-50 and that anything can happen… make it obvious you want to get intimate. That way, you av0id ending up on the bed begging her.
On the other hand, I know some guys say women like to play hard to get even when they're interested. I don't fully buy that.
You should be able to read the room and know when a girl actually wants to get down with you. If she doesn't, then don't invite her and start begging.. it's that simple. That's my take.
