Hot take: Warsaw men are the most chivalrous I’ve ever encountered. I have never once carried my own shopping here. Someone always rushes to take my bags, open the door, carry things upstairs. Complete strangers detecting a damsel in distress and springing into action. Almost embarrassing tbh, I always blush like a silly billy. Huge contrast to places like Sweden where men will cut you in a queue. And it’s the LAST thing you’d expect given how the world talks about Eastern European men.
