@Ennaakat @ryuchanmitchan AA4 was my first one back in like 2010 and was still a great time. Enough to make me a lifelong fan. I went back to play the PW games and gained more appreciation thanks to more context, but that didnt take away my ability to endear myself to AA even without PW's context.

The game is self contained in the sense that it tells the audience that they're supposed to know who the random character who just showed up is but the fact it even has moments-

@Ennaakat @ryuchanmitchan Please read what I said. What you say is true, but that moment in itself matters little in being able to enjoy most of what DD is. Same goes for most other fan service. DD is indeed self contained enough that you can have a great time without any context. Its no TGAA2.

@Gosutori15 @ryuchanmitchan It's not about it being too confusing to enjoy it about impact. Edgeworth showing up in DD is framed like something important that the audience is supposed to be happy about but if you don't have the context of the other games he's literally just some guy.

@ryuchanmitchan I think you underestimate how many people played AA5 as their first game and were perfectly capable of enjoying it. Loads played it first on 3DS in 2013, and then played the older games afterwards when they got ported in 2014-2017-2019. You can always get the context later.
