Just found out me and @realtapwater share the same birthday 😭 Would’ve been a cool flex but I messed up and put 18th on my profile and now X won’t let me change it… So now I’m one day older than I actually am on the internet. Love that for me.

@Reconcite I mostly learn through tutorials too, but I make sure I understand the code instead of just copying. If I’m stuck I check DevForum or experiment. Small projects also help a lot.

@EnnyDaBat I’m also learning Luau and Roblox scripting at the moment. Any resources or tips you can provide?

Day 11 🎮 Learned ClickDetector, cooldowns, and more about leaderstats. Built a small system where you click to earn coins, cooldown stops spam, and leaderstats track it. Cooldown took some tweaking but it’s clean now. #RobloxDev #Luau #Scripting #Roblox

Day 11 🌐 Built a temperature converter (Celsius, Fahrenheit, etc). Nothing crazy, just wanted to actually build something. Input → convert → output. Although its not fully functional we'll get there Good practice for handling logic + user input. #WebDev #JavaScript #Coding

Day 77 of learning how to script on Roblox! 👀✨ Today I worked on creating a script that spawns coins around the map. Instead of clicking them, you collect them just by walking near them and they magnetize toward you automatically! 🧲 Something I learned that I thought was pretty cool was for vectors, instead of using (0, 10, 0) you can just use (x, 10, y). I thought that was pretty neat! I also learned about the Heartbeat event, I'm not sure if this is something I would fully optimize in the future but who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ I did have a little help with this script, I definitely want to spend this weekend going back on some tutorials and engrave this all in my memory. I just want to be able to create something like this without looking back on anything at all!! However, I would say this one was actually pretty simple to put together!! 💖💖

Day 10 🌐 worked on a small project today. A click counter with a reset button and a bit of js behind it nothing big but it actually updates live and doesn’t break managed to mess it up like 10 times just adding one feature but yeah… progress #WebDev #JavaScript

Day 10 🎮 finally getting leaderstats a bit. cash system, values, all that stuff actually makes sense now instead of just copying it. next step is just making stuff cleaner and not spaghetti code everywhere #RobloxDev #Luau #GameDev #Roblox

Day 76 of learning how to script on Roblox! 👀✨ So I completely forgot I had bunch of bakery models I made years ago and I thought the best way to make use out of them would be to practice scripting!! I wanted to make a system where I go through the steps for making a cupcake. These steps are equipping the pan, adding the wrappers, adding batter, baking, then add frosting and toppings! I would say this script took me 4 hours to complete, I did have a tiny bit of help/support! The most complicated part for me is would say were the tools... they just wouldn't equip properly and it took me a while to figure out they had to be welded 😅 This script contains tables, loops, functions, tool handling, events, delays, progress system, proximity prompts!! I would say I did 90% of this on my own and the other 10% I had to get help with through some resources!! I'm definitely sleep deprived, so I'll be going to bed now. I'm really proud of this script!!💖🥳
