I thank her for honouring our invitation to the swearing-in ceremony. She briefed me on the current situation in Venezuela, and we discussed the need to strengthen diplomatic and bilateral cooperation between our two countries. We agreed to explore collaboration in areas of mutual interest for the benefit of our people.

BREAKING: President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E. @KagutaMuseveni has appointed Justice MOSES KAZIBWE KAWUMI as the new Deputy Chief Justice. President Museveni has also appointed Her Worship, AGNES ALUM as the new Chief Registrar. The name of the new Deputy Chief Justice has been sent to Parliament, awaiting approval.

President Museveni has appointed Justice Moses Kazibwe Kawumi as Deputy Chief Justice and Agnes Alum as Chief Registrar, pending parliamentary approval.

Gen. @mkainerugaba is effectively dismantling corrupt cartels and plugging financial leaks to ensure our taxes fund roads and clinics, not individuals. This firm stance on accountability proves he is the only capable successor to President YK Museveni.
