@Ento_Allan Both of these ideas are awesome I think we will do both. The bee flies have such cool wing patterns too that will be cool to play with. The tarantula hawks colors are amazing also!!!

Drosera cistiflora has one of the largest flowers of any species in this carnivorous genus that Ive seen. It's so effective at trapping insects to "eat" that a small praying mantis looted it for a food source, as there was plenty to go around.

This Mallophora was not happy that I caught it. 4th time I’ve been “bit” by an asilid, this was the most noticeable. @TDikow @ChotHerbert @Myelaphus @flygirlNHM

Looking for information on bee-fly (Bombyliidae) color vision with my REU student. There's a lot of info about many other insect groups, but wondering if ppl have papers to suggest for Bombyliidae specifically?
