It really used to bother me before when something like this used to happen, and I really used to blame it on vtubing... But I'm going to be honest, I think a lot of it is just improper learning around socialization and communication. These sorts of things happen even without vtubing being the medium. I have friends I used to talk to every day just suddenly block me and not say a word. I have also had people I communicate with daily because of work who I thought disliked me say that they enjoy being around. Learning how to properly socialize starts with how you are raised. @iiChemicalAngel I literally don't care at all, i haven't cared at all back then before my vtuber era when i worked with a ton of huge creators and i certainly don't care now. I wanna meet people and connect with who they are, not some fake "let's use each other" friendship 😩

One thing that is not talked about enough in the vtuber world... So many vtubers use others to grow. They call it "networking" but if you try to be friend someone just because of their viewer/follower count that is using someone for clout.

@ProfKilobyte From before my vtubing arc i learned that it depends heavily on what i do. When i stream art & design, people usually come to chill and work together so sporadic interaction is fine. During the rest i try to have fun by myself mostly and share that with chat <3

Dead chat is an interesting test of character. What is the correct response: talk through it, switch tactics, or end the experiment? Be honest. If chat went silent for an hour, do you keep performing, adapt the format, or call it dead? ↻ + ♡
