@CarrieHFletcher People need to realise, it's not the same as a gig, which it's usually so loud ya can't hear anyone right next to ya. In the theatre it is a much more civilised mood, and I for one don't want some dude shouting along, killing a poignant moment, I support this move 🙏👏

We don’t go to the dentist and have a go at a filling ourselves whilst we’re there, do we? So why do we think it’s okay to happily have a go at the job of a performer when we go to the theatre? Respect performers. Respect theatre. Respect the arts.

Not only does this make FOH staff jobs harder, it also perpetuates this idea that performing is easy! You can do it right from your seat in the audience! It doesn’t take hard work + training + therefore doesn’t deserve any respect. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Ffs don’t we know better than this by now?
