I know from experience that long-term care for a bedridden loved one can lead to extreme physical and mental exhaustion. What you see here is a normal, overwhelming reaction known as caregiver burden. You will experience a mix of emotions, including guilt (you'd wish they died, but love says no), anger, sadness, and grief over the loss of your own independence and the patient's worsening health. Towards the later years of my grandmother's life, she gained more weight while immobilized. As someone who was 6'1" tall, sometimes it was even difficult for two people to lift her to the restroom for a bath. No one talks about the severe social isolation as caregivers become confined to the home, losing touch with friends and personal work. Or the chronic pain, sleep deprivation, and neglect of the caregiver's financial needs. They need all the support they can get and never condemnation. In our part of the world, not even the government or family members pay you for this job.

This woman is calling out her late husband’s family for trying to claim his properties just 3 days after he passed away. Her late husband, who was also the breadwinner of his family and the first child, had been sick for a while before he passed away a few days ago. She accused her father-in-law of trying to take his properties, and when she refused because she has two children with her husband, he bëät her up.
