Our Early Release was just published in #eNeuro I found that a pre and post synaptic spike pairing protocol depressed synapses in cortical projecting claustrum neurons, unless the pairing was done with the psychedelic, DOI. Then, plasticity was reversed into potentiation! 🔗⬇️

Thank you @JackGorsline for inviting me to be in a panel about psychedelics at @NE_CANN with Tanner Anderson from Yale and @GrahamM06812404 and i got to meet Cesar Marin too!

I have successfully finished my PhD in neuroscience and I am stoked to announce that I am starting my postdoctoral work in the @akaye Lab at Yale University in a few days! I will continue to study the neurobiology of psychedelics there. Exciting things ahead!

What a journey it’s been! Tomorrow is my PhD defense 🙀 A little bittersweet, but I’m excited to share my dissertation work and move on to the next phase of my career
