HOWEVER If it wasn't for the ballot we wouldn't have great picks like King K Rool, Ridley, Sora & BANJO! With fantastic movekits to support em. Smash fan picks practical made Ultimate's roster 100 times better. But if a character got a dope ass moveset, im happy lol

I totally agree when it comes to smash fans wanting characters that are "random copy & paste" and that being unoriginal. I also agree when it comes to characters that Sakurai really loves like Joker & Terry, its best if he doesn't listen to the mid takes. It's his game.

The ballot was great, but Smash is at its best when it isn't listening to what flavour of the month fans want. Fans circle jerk eachother and end up convincing themselves weird characters like Reimu is a lock. Majority of fan rosters are 99% the same shit. No creativity.
