Of course they are unequal, no one is born with equal access to anything... even siblings. The world is, unfortunately, not a fair place. Elon musk by the way, was not born with opportunity, capital or 'networks'. He was raised in a difficult area and was not treated well or fairly growing up. You're saying Musk should be held up as an example of inequality, yet he is your example of "unequal access". Further, people often do better when they have gone through adversity and difficult times... even losing 1 or both parents, has often transformed people - forced them to become independent, resilient and driven to be successful. Giving people things makes laziness, not income equality.

That’s a strong opinion, but it overlooks how unequal access to opportunity, capital, and networks actually shapes outcomes. People don’t all start from the same position, so “just make money” isn’t equally realistic for everyone. Success is a mix of effort, opportunity, and timing not just personal mindset or deservedness.
