Forgot to post this one, but was thinking about this account again. Shiny Chikorita in Soul Silver, AND ITS A GIRL! Two cyndaquils and this is my first Chikorita, gonna try to complete the set in original silver and gold.

Top 64 (45/822) at the Pokemon Seattle VGC Regionals Was hemming and hawing over the last slot on the Flutter + Hisuian Arcanine team (historically Dark Urshifu or Chien-Pao) but luckily Galarian Moltres was the right Pokemon for the job +120 Points and 1 box

5-3 in my second regional. Dodged Dondozo all day, and managed to lose to my best matchup, Psyspam. Happy with improving from my result in Portland last year, time to make day 2 next time. pokepast.es/117972a2195fce…

@Adam0193 @CbuttyVGC Clefairy is next on the list to test, it would mostly be relevant for urshifu, but we largely get the same job done with WoChien, I have contemplated Grim over ninetales as well, will have to give it a try

Reg H is great because you don’t actually have to be good at Pokemon. You can ~quite legitimately~ blame all your losses on Dire Claw or Scale Shot and pretend like you’re good and would be winning otherwise

My first shiny from when I started hunting, but I got it again. On to phase 3 for Totodile or Chikorita
