Wind powers turbines. Sunlight powers solar. But there’s another energy source we’re surrounded by every day, one many don’t think about: ambient light. We’ve developed a way to capture it: indoor solar cells that convert light into power, known as light energy harvesting.

Ambient energy is everywhere. Light, heat, motion, and radio waves. Energy harvesting converts small amounts of this into electricity, so low power electronics can run without disposable batteries or wires, reducing maintenance and total cost of ownership at scale.
