Some projects show what the maker community is capable of. This is one of them. Electromaker community member Térence Grover rebuilt the entire Principality of Monaco as an interactive light sculpture using custom electronics, Python, and live data. • 179 hand-cut acrylic cuboids • Positioned using the real GPS coordinates of Monaco’s districts • Powered by a @Raspberry_Pi 5 and RP2040 Scorpio • RGBW LED lighting driven by a custom Python and Flask application The attention to detail is incredible, from the physical fabrication through to the software stack powering the installation.
