@Dstructuralguy @OgbajiIfeanyi Lol. We all live to die and we have to accept that death is what inevitably awaits every single man. By 2095 you will be closer to 110yrs and you are saying you can't die. Very funny stuff You want to live for 200yrs I guess

This is crazy!!! I just moved into this estate two days ago.. Today a woman came to my flat to tell me about their "recognition fee" According to her, once a new tenant moves in, he or she is expected to pay the sum of ₦250,000 as "tenant recognition fee" The ₦250,000 will be used to buy drinks and gifts to officially welcome the tenant. Neither the agent or landlord told me this when I paid my rent.. So after paying the sum of ₦1,700,000 as rent fee, I will still have to pay hungry tenant another ₦250,000 I reported it to the agent and he said it's none of his business "they have rules, follow it" The self acclaimed estate vise president said I will be disassociated if I don't pay it.. Please what will you do if you are the one cause this is crazy!!..?? Is that how you people that are living in estate do? This is my first time moving into estate.. Somebody talk to me please....

@armanifeante Posts like this do make me wonder if the hausa politicians in power that have impoverished their entire region embezzling billions are a different breed of hausas. There a bad eggs in every tribe. Pray not to be at the mercy of the bad ones tribe notwithstanding

False stereotype na bastard!! You mistakenly sent money to an Hausa man and you are scared 😂 He would have likely called you himself to ask what the money was for and then refund it with your charges 😂 The most honest dealing set of humans you will ever come across You wonder why they are the largest ethnic group in northern Nigeria and they barely have high ranking political leaders They don’t seek power, talk less of doing whatever they could to get it. It’s the bad eggs in the north that are difficult to differentiate from Hausas that caused the bad image An Hausa would rather short himself on profit than cheat.

@judeawoniyi @Morris_Monye Exactly. Make an impact for the sake of impacting people and making their lives better, that's purpose. When it involves you being remembered dead or alive its no longer purpose. Death here is final and nothing connects here to thereafter, so being remembered shouldnt matter

@Eplayn @Morris_Monye Yep. Make an impact. Do what you must to make the world better. But not because you want to be remembered in the future. You won't be there to enjoy the acclaim!

That’s why I can burn all the money I have just to ensure that I’m remembered in history. When you die, you are gone. The only people that will remember you are your siblings, children, spouse etc. And all this is in a span of 30 years. Your children’s children won’t even remember you. Life must have a purpose. We must find our purpose. Making money is not the ultimate purpose for us all.
Leo Dasilva@SirLeoBDasilva

You need to have a higher purpose. Your life can’t just be sleeping, waking up and trying to make money. Your life won’t feel like it has meaning.

@Mrbankstips This take is funny. The traces you think you are leaving doesn't matter a bit wherever u are going to when you are done here. When u are done here u are done, no connection bw here and there. Whether ur name is carried forward or backward matters not. Just Live a good life

What a shame it would be to pass through this life… and leave no trace of yourself behind. No younger version of you running around. No blood carrying your name forward. No life that you created. Go have kids. Be bold. Be brave. It won’t kill you — but time? Time waits for no one.

@MikeAgrow This is honestly something people don't get. Consumers call farmers greedy for being unhappy when food prices crash forgetting that farmers have invested capital before the price crash. A rice farmer I know committed suicide when rice price crashed as he borrowed to plant & lost

In 2025, we invested ₦200,000 into our cassava farm. With the market price crashing, we made the tough call to process everything into garri. Processing and logistics took another ₦270,000. Last month, we sold the garri and realized ₦143,000. That’s a painful loss of ₦327,000. My personal human capital is not included. Still, one thing is certain, we will smile again. Olasunkanmi Akapo you once asked, “Should food be expensive?” Well, food is now cheap but it’s coming at the expense of the farmer. To every farmer out there, keep going. Keep growing, even if it’s at your own pace. The tide will turn again and when it does, it will favour us. Farmer Adeoye

@mrbayoa1 As a chelsea fan I don't want to see my club in the champions league if it means Arsenal having a chance at winning the league. One season without UCL won't change a thing about how huge we are. It's Man city all the way tomorrow.

Chelsea, your club needs to play Champions League football next season. Arsenal have already secured a pathway for Premier League teams to get the 5th spot. The whole of English football wants to see Chelsea in the Champions League next season, the floor is yours tomorrow 💪💪.

@ShehuSani The last statement is very important. Anybody investing their billions at that park should know that Tinubu and Wike won't be around forever and no matter the billions invested there, every structure will still be brought to dust with time. Might take time but surely

Jabi lake park Abuja was designed and constructed by the Obasanjo administration over 2 decades ago.The picturesque space is a hub for picnic, camping and recreational activities for Abuja residents. Its sad to see the land being caved out and sold.I don’t even know what they are constructing there. Those who bought the land in violation of the master plan should know that the approval of today will not stand the scrutiny of the future.

Yesterday defenders of democracy, today's destroyers, What a shame. What an irony of history, that the acclaimed defenders of democracy and human rights who claimed to have fought for democracy during the era of General Sani Abacha now find themselves worse than the man they opposed. Today, General Sani Abacha, once presumed face of oppression, will be remembered as seemingly more democratic and more respectful of human rights than the so-called champions of activism from the NADECO days. Power indeed reveals character. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

I did warn the government of Nigeria that it’s easy to announce tax for poor citizens, but the problem is how to enforce it. They will keep extending the date, no matter how much they pay your twitter financial experts to ‘educate’ you on the need to file returns. The whole idea of this new tax regime was to widen the net so those in the informal sector (e.g artisans, laborers, vulcanizers etc) can pay. And I asked how do you keep track of what is supposed to be their taxable income? No one gave a reasonable explanation. Even the ones earning digitally, there’s a concept of tax withholding if you earn in certain countries. Nigeria doesn’t have tax treaty for possible waivers. Double taxation will frustrate you. At the end of the day, you people and government will do WWE until they probably scrap this idea. Good luck everyone.
