The @UniHeidelberg was happy to take part in Girls’ Day 2026 on 23 April and to welcome a group of 19 students from different schools and regions. The group had the opportunity to run larger-scale experiments using the BrainScaleS-2 system via EBRAINS. This allowed them to see how such systems are used in current research. We are looking forward to the Brain Connectivity Workshop 2026 in Nîmes, France from 10-12 June! EBRAINS will have a strong presence at the event. EBRAINS researchers Dr. Spase Petkoski and Dr. Meysam Hasehemi will give a hands-on introduction to the Virtual Brain Platform, covering computational modelling and simulation of personalised brain dynamics, on 10 June at 14:00.
