@AnneKathrinDern There's a recent case of the thing you describe and it was in one of my favorite franchises which used to have exceptional music, but has been replaced with a generic soundtrack just for the big name. It's infuriating, just as much as a fan of the medium and as a composer.

The idea that game composers can’t possibly score film/TV is ridiculous. Meanwhile game devs hire film composers who haven’t played a game in ages (or ever), who have no interest or love for the medium, and who hand it off to their teams for a quick paycheck. Make it make sense.

I swear there’s more “composer coaches” now than actual working composers. The sheer amount of ppl selling you vague secondhand “professional” advice to “make it” when they themselves never managed to have a successful career in the field is astounding. It’s a pyramid scheme.

So I just noticed that apparently #Adobe signed me up for their "All Applications" plan. I sure as heck did not sign up for that. So I go to cancel that plan, and oh hey you need to pay 300$ for early cancellation.

Stop by the blacksmith for some weapon forging. Components are not just for aesthetics, they have different stats and better at certain types of damage.

@MaxiGoethling I think my biggest complaint is quickly becoming “the AI only ever attacks you and ignores all of your allies” while playing as a mage. 😭

@EricGordonBerg I got Luca is just now and really enjoyed the experience. I'm pretty confident that once I got used to the changes the "Dragon Age" feeling will get me, I had some of it spark just now.
His situation reminds me of Anders in Awakening/DA2 😈

I have to pause my Dragon Age The Veilguard playthrough, because holy shit is this game beautiful!!
I don't understand why people complained about the art direction, I'm playing it now and it fits perfectly and I'm pretty sure it will age like fine wine because of it
