I made a super visual page for all the DESIGN.md we generate. 564 of them and more coming out every day.
You can grab the design systems, web design skill prompts and HTML pages.
@tusharsnx I see. In that case, it looks like `concurrently` is your best option. You can configure each command with a `prefix` to differentiate the log output. Alternatively, you might look at the `vscode terminals` extension and configure it run those commands in separate tabs.
Developers
I have three scripts to run: `dev:client`, `dev:server`, and `dev:router` for local development.
How can I run them all with a single command? What are my options?
@tusharsnx Write a script/dev.sh file with your commands and then call it using npm run dev. Script files will help keep your package.json file from getting overblown for scenarios like these.
Speaking the hard TRUTH to a female anchor isn’t “mansplaining,” it’s the exact same treatment I gave to Don Lemon a few months back: I believe in equal opportunity for all media dishonesty. Watch @CNN’s hilariously artificial clipping of my Taiwan defense plan last night, when in fact I’ve offered the most detailed deterrence plan of any candidate in either party. I didn’t let the fake media get away with it. Fake politicians, beware.
The future is bright. Checkout the new GUI from @teaxyz for open-source packages. We need more tools like this that combine discovery and curation from trusted parties to filter out the noise.
I know I'm late to the game but... I'm really enjoying #copilot from @github. Activated a trial earlier today and it's already auto-filling boilerplate code, making suggestions, and it's only getting better. Highly recommend checking it out 👀
Todays calendar was wall-to-wall interviews 8am-5pm. Making 2 offers without a code screen or whiteboard challenge.
Here’s a thread on why I believe code-challenge advocates shouldn’t be allowed to interview people. 🧵 👇🏻
I just subscribed to Popular Information (popular.info). This is a great daily newsletter that follows the money in politics and corporate lobbying to unveil what's happening behind the scenes. Worth every penny.
@trello absolutely stellar job overhauling the sidenav UI / UX. As a software developer / part-time CTO for clients, I manage several boards across many workspaces and the new interface delivers. Thank you 🙏
This story about zoologist Juliane Diller, who fell two miles from a plane in 1971 and then walked for 10 days to her rescue, is astonishing nytimes.com/2021/06/18/sci…
@Gozneyovens the Gozney Dome launch was trash today. I expect way better for a premium product that’s been hyped for over a year. Seems like a recipe built for your PR team not your customers. No thank you.
@beyerstein No refund. No extension. No discount. And no info. Just a flat response: "[We are] open and members continue to be able to access the space. As a rent-owing tenant we're unable to offer anything." Last time I went in (3/08) there were 5 people total (3 were staff). #NotWeWork
This is a bombshell. WeWork is keeping its facilities open during the lockdown, endangering staff, and coaching them on how to game the system to prove they're doing "essential" work. All to avoid refunding subscribers their money: bit.ly/2UT2sdZ
@sendgrid_ops I've been having trouble registering for an account and contacted support over 72 hours ago and haven't heard back. Could I get an email eric@blushednow.com to resolve the issue please?
