Uganda reaffirms its commitment to humanitarian protection following a bilateral agreement with the United States of America, facilitating the transfer and assessment of third-country nationals seeking asylum.
The initiative upholds international obligations, including the principle of non-refoulement, ensuring dignity, safety, and fair consideration for all individuals.-via @UgandaMFA @Tybisa

Do not subscribe for that @mtnug virtual card or even worse deposit money onto one if you are already registered! Those muffs do not work. Mtn well aware that the service is non functional, is continuing to take people’s hard earned cash with no refunds!

Observation: Over 54% of Uganda’s artists depend on live performances as their primary source of income. For years, Uganda led the East African region in hosting frequent, multi artist events especially during peak seasons like Easter and Christmas. Back then a single artist could perform at up to seven shows in one day, driven by high demand and a vibrant events ecosystem.
But this Easter weekend tells a different story.
There are noticeably fewer concerts and large scale events happening across the country. This isn’t just a seasonal dip it raises a bigger question about the health of Uganda’s live music economy.
If live shows have been the backbone of ug artists earnings, what does this decline mean for the music industry, URA, Tourism, Beverage companies(Beer and soda), media and other beneficiaries from these live events. What really happened? where do we go from here?
