So the man who… ✅ cut Medicaid funding during the pandemic ✅ withheld vaccines from my neighbors for an ego trip ✅ covered up the deaths in group homes and nursing homes …is running around NYC telling us he loves this city and wants to be our leader? We need to stop @andrewcuomo for good.
Sally Goldenberg@SallyGold

NEW: In 2021, @andrewcuomo withheld vaccines for 2+ weeks to Citi Field - a site championed by his nemesis, @BilldeBlasio. (Cuomo blames fed shortage.) He also threatened separately to have BDB's health commish arrested. W/ @NickReisman & @michaelgartland: politico.com/news/2025/03/2…

Brad Lander has made a career out of saying one thing and doing another. He pandered to the “Defund the Police” crowd in 2020—demanding $1 billion in NYPD cuts—only to now call for more cops on our streets and in our subways. He talks tough on reckless drivers while racking up dozens of violations, including repeated speeding in school zones. And now he’s promising to end “at-will” employment and protect workers from unjust firings—after firing his staffers without warning or reason. Lander doesn’t stand for principles. He panders to whatever crowd he thinks will get him ahead.
Brad Lander@bradlander

How’s this, @GrimKim: When I’m Mayor, we’ll pass the Secure Jobs Act (sponsored by @tiffany_caban) to end “at-will employment” and give all workers in NYC “just cause employment” protections, so they can’t be fired without a good reason. That way, when workers are fired for organizing, and they can’t count on Trump’s corrupt NLRB, New York City can reinstate them with back pay under our own laws.

In England, a parent in a WhatsApp group made mildly disparaging remarks about school administrators at her children's school, and was raided by the police and thrown in jail with her husband. They were banned from school premises and not allowed to even instruct teachers on how to administer medication to their daughter. The entire story is insane. This is what the left wants to bring here. Keep this in mind when they're crying about 'free speech' for terror-supporting noncitizens getting their visas revoked. It's all an act. Read the article, it's impossible to imagine this is happening to a Western nation: thetimes.com/uk/education/a…
Andrew Doyle@andrewdoyle_com

Parents in Hertfordshire have been arrested and locked in a cell for criticising the policies of their daughter’s school in emails and a What’s App group. By this point, anyone claiming that free speech is intact in the UK is utterly delusional.

@MarioNawfal For what it’s worth, when they’re not in DC they’re often (if not always) in their districts dealing with constituent services and meeting with people/business owners. But I do see your point. 🇺🇸

🚨🇺🇸CONGRESS WORKS JUST 3-4 DAYS A WEEK—AND TAXPAYERS FOOT THE BILL Most members of Congress spend only 10 to 11 nights a month in Washington, often flying in Monday afternoon and leaving by Thursday morning—on your dime. While America faces crises, lawmakers rack up travel costs from a $2 million taxpayer-funded allowance and spend weekends back home or campaigning. Even members admit it: this schedule kills productivity and bipartisanship. Yet nothing changes. Why? Because in D.C., accountability takes a back seat to convenience. Source: SAN

Knife crime is at epidemic levels and is ruining lives across Britain. As Prime Minister, I'll crack down on sales of these lethal weapons once and for all. When I announce a ban, you’ll get a ban. thesun.co.uk/news/politics/…

Progressives are really going to have to come to terms with how tiny, insular, and homogenous their constituency actually is. They wield outsize power in our government because activism is literally all they live for, so they naturally gravitate towards the political bureaucracy, unions, and nonprofit empire. This wild overrepresentation then acts as a feedback loop, so they believe they’re actually a lot more popular than they really are. In reality progressives are not only deeply unpopular but actually loathed by the very people they claim to represent — namely the working class who see absolutely nothing of themselves in a bunch of spoiled college kids and trust fund socialists who’ve never had real jobs and can’t define what a woman is. Their relentless activism might be enough to dominate smaller low-turnout local races, but when the map is expanded and a broader swath of the electorate is engaged, they fall flat.
Steve Morris@stevemorris__

In the final round, Andrew Cuomo beats Zohran Mamdani: -72-28 among Latino voters -85-15 among non-college voters -91-9 among Black voters -93-7 in the Bronx Mamdani's best groups are white voters, those with degrees, those under 45, and Brooklyn

When they say “PLAY BALL,” I hear “SPEND MONEY!” Home games for the @mets and @yankees put New Yorkers to work on and off the field, boosting our small businesses and generating more than $900 MILLION in economic impact. So...let’s PLAY BALL!
