Jewish legacy organizations won't even speak about antizionism, won't educate the public about it, and even continue to implicitly legitimize it as critique.
I've been told it's divisive for me to say this, but I'm angry about the murder of Yaron and Sarah, I'm angry about Bondi, and I'm angry about the endless harassment and discrimination I faced within the academy. I'm angry that society has normalized a modern-day Nazi hate movement.
This is no longer acceptable. Jewish organizations must educate about antizionism. It's not divisive to say so. It's a matter of urgency for the Jewish people.

A New York bill would ban AI from answering questions related to several licensed professions like medicine, law, dentistry, nursing, psychology, social work, engineering, and more. The companies would be liable if the chatbots give “substantive responses” in these areas.

This is vile but tragically not surprising. We’ve seen broad-based normalization of anti-Jewish rhetoric & stereotypes online, in political & community spaces, in schools & on college campuses.
It’s beyond dangerous. The normalization & acceptance of antisemitism must end.

At an event this afternoon, a group of individuals that were chanting "tax the rich" began to shout "tax the Jews." This was an event I put on with Supervisor Mahmood, labor leaders, and dozens of workers to announce a plan that creates more jobs for those workers and housing for San Franciscans. Suggesting that Jews are wealthy is a tired trope, and targeting our community at an event focused on creating economic opportunity for San Franciscans is decidedly antisemitic. I will never accept hate directed at the Jewish community or any community in our city. Those are not San Francisco values—we’re better than that.
