@FarnazJ_ @drmaxlwilson @_JimWallace @AghajariZhila Perhaps length of response letter could have similar guidance to paper length? e.g., Typical length 1~2 pp., else risk Rs/ACs not reading/rejecting. Really appreciate @drmaxlwilson @JRicoWilliamson and @stefanie_hci willingness to reflexively interrogate and improve the process.

@drmaxlwilson @EricPSB @_JimWallace @AghajariZhila One issue is that the response is supposed to include not only the changes made, but also arguments for why certain comments or concerns by a reviewer do not apply to the work and therefore have not been incorporated in the revision and that's hard to do in such a limited space.
