@59years_of_gray @TLNewmanMTL RRSP, CPP, airports, a strong currency with a federal reserve. Like I genuinely don’t understand how you think Alberta would be better off. We are not even remotely diversified enough. Our problems are the UCP and their corruption and lack of funding for our services

@Kikiwips @TLNewmanMTL Weird. I know about a hundred of them, just in my own small circle of freinds (I'd guess about 80% of them). Why would anyone stay in a dictatorship voluntarily? Like, what actual benefit does Alberta get from Canada. Can you name even ONE reason why? I'll wait.

@59years_of_gray @TLNewmanMTL What dictatorship? I swear. You people are the most dramatic group. Go look at actual dictator countries like North Korea and Belarus and report back. Yes, you get many benefits. You have military, a strong passport that allows you to travel to 100+ countries vis free, TFSA,

@Jipp1974 @liberal_party Harper has 6 floor crossings under his 3 terms. Having majority isn’t going to change anything. They had the Greens and NDP. To me it just shows how bad PP is at party leader. Just look at his awful polling

@Kikiwips @liberal_party Hey Kiki, never this many in one sitting. Also, the possibility of a government going from a minority to a majority is a very big deal. Down play it and make believe its normal all you want. It isn't.

@illlllzzzzzz @leftcoastbabe @MarkJCarney Courts are controlled by provinces. No negative trends pre pandemic. Our economy was doing well. Low unemployment. I’m happy to vote for budgets that invest billions into our infrastructure and energy sector. We need to expand our trade. Building ports, pipelines isnt cheap

@Kikiwips @leftcoastbabe @MarkJCarney Pre pandemic all negative trends and deficit spending were already in effect. Pandemic just amplified the horrendous financial mismanagement of the Liberals. Keep voting for deficits and keep enjoying that inflation. Not to mention the Liberal soft on crime idiocy.

If you live in Alberta And you voted for a conservative MP in your riding, hoping that this time would be the time your vote matters. I have something to tell you. There’s only one vote left that ACTUALLY matters. And it’s coming up on October 19, 2026. Vote like your life and the lives of your children count on it. Vote for Alberta Independence.
Rise Of Alberta@RiseOfAlberta

Marilyn Gladu is now the fourth Conservative MP to cross to the Liberals. How many more before Albertans realize Ottawa cannot be fixed? Independence is the only path forward. #AlbertaIndependence

@kevin_inalberta Also, it's higher than 42%. With independence referendums there is a hidden block of voters that polls will never catch, and it's big.

"As many as 42%" will vote for independence according to Pollara poll in story in today's National Post. Add me to that number. A Liberal majority through backroom deals is the straw that broke the camel's back. Prior to today, I was on the fence. Not anymore. I will be voting YES to Alberta Independence on October 19. Thank you @MarkJCarney for making the decision easier.

@kevin_inalberta I don’t even know one Albertan that supports separation. Polling has shown a max of 15% support this cause. Even if you get 51%, which you won’t, you won’t be seperated. You understand that the federal gov and majority of provinces would have to approve. Plus treaty land

I wasted years of my life giving a shit about Canadian democracy. I regret every minute I spent caring about this fucking country, worrying over what was best for it. What a useless enterprise, what a loss of time.

It’s going to get bad before it gets worse and it’s going to become unbearable. There’s no coming back from what’s happening in Canada. We’ve passed that point. Norms have changed. The goal posts have shifted. And I don’t like it. At all. And I know I’m not the only one who is both saddened and disgusted by the state of our country. This isn’t what I wanted. This isn’t what I voted for. I can’t believe how far Canada has fallen. And I can’t believe how many so-called Canadians have fallen for it. I used to think Canada was salvageable. I used to think Canada could be brought back - even if it took decades. But that was years ago. And it’s not going to happen. If you’re happy with the state of Canada and the direction we’re headed - good for you, congratulations. I’m not. And I want a better life than what Canada has to offer. I want my independence, my freedom, lower taxes, stability, less crime, less government, more opportunities, shared values. I want a better future for my niece. I want peace of mind. But Canada isn’t offering that. So it’s time for Alberta to separate. It just is. This is our chance. This is our time. And I don’t care if you disagree with me because I don’t understand how you could. The only vote that matters now will be taking place on October 19, 2026 in the province of Alberta. If you’re an Albertan vote YES to separate.

I personally have no faith in the results of that last election. However, the people supposedly elected a Liberal minority government. Yet the floor crossers keep coming. This is unprecedented. This is no longer a country it's a fucking crime scene. How much longer are we going to tolerate this blatant corruption?

🪙REMEMBER: CANADA HAS *NO* GOLD RESERVES🪙 We are the ONLY G7 country with ZERO gold reserves. NOW, WANT TO BE *REALLY* PISSED OFF? Ukraine has 27.37 tonnes of gold valued at roughly $3.5–3.7 billion USD. CANADA HAS GIVEN THEM +$25.5 BILLION IN FINANCIAL WAR AID!! Ukraine are buying & hoarding gold --> and NOT using it to pay for their war!!! WHY THE FUCK ARE WE SUPPORTING THE UKRAINE WAR EFFORT WHEN *CLEARLY* THEY HAVE FUNDS??
