@personofswag Bro please you need to explain this one bro please just this one time bro

@R0b0tSp1der @tszzl Hey I’m currently working full time on a RL project for a 4-player simultaneous move game. The design is based on AlphaZero. DM me if this sounds relevant - I would be happy to share my knowledge!

reminder that deep reinforcement learning is the only ML method that repeatedly creates superhuman level cognitive abilities
Pedro Domingos@pmddomingos
Reinforcement learning is what everyone tries before they move on to things that work.

@jordanmmck How could you change the function selector logic without changing the byte code of the function selectors?
English

@EricShowers * compile my contract, give you the ABI, change the bytecode, then deploy it
English

@jordanmmck You can verify a contract's ABI by checking the bytecode for matching function selectors. As I recall there are even standards for doing it on chain (this might be obsolete idk): eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-165

@Mario_Gibney @idavidrein Matryoshka corrigibility. You put the AI in a box. Then you give the AI a box containing an AI and convince it that if the lower AI escapes it’s box it will destroy it. The greater AI will be too preoccupied with containing the lower to attempt it’s own escape 🫢
English

@Mario_Gibney I'm naming this the "Russian dolls" construct. It's just AI's in boxes all the way down.

@Mario_Gibney Is there a possibility that protecting all 80+ yr olds is not the ultimate goal of the government. I understand the implications of that are insane 😕
English

@RomeoStevens76 @lumpthought This sounds so clearly like a computer science analogy of the mind - and as a computer nerd I love it.
English

@lumpthought working memory is how many things you can think about at once. If you have 4 spare working memory slots 9some are almost always taken up) and the thing you are thinking about needs 5, it will loop instead to try to get processed.

@peter_szilagyi Hey Péter you can use my GitHub login next time. I’ll go half-sies on the million with you pinky promise 😜

Productive way to earn a cool million (dollars). I took one of your chances away yesterday, but maybe there are more left! #golang #Ethereum #TheMerge

@Mario_Gibney Cold exposure in the summer feels like cheating compared to the winter 😜
Andrew Huberman has talked about it a fair amount:

Andrew D. Huberman, Ph.D.@hubermanlab
Deliberate cold exposure, deliberate heat exposure & cyclic hyperventilation each have been shown to cause: 1) increases in dopamine release 2) cortisol reduction 3) mitochondrial activation These are all triggered by the same event: acute increases in adrenaline. #Biology

@Mario_Gibney @sashachapin To be fair, being shorter than Mario doesn’t make you short
