“ITS A NO FOR THE CONSERVATIVES”
Former CBC journalist @Travisdhanraj tells me at Heritage Committee that he was prevented from having Conservative voices, including leader Pierre Poilievre, on his news show.
When he did have Conservatives on, he was threatened to be pulled off the air.
Listen to what else he shared:

God's eye view 24-hour replay of Operation Epic Fury.
The Iran strikes kicked off and I set an AI agent swarm loose to record every OSINT signal I could find before the caches cleared. Built a full 4D reconstruction in WorldView.
I can scrub through minute by minute and watch the whole thing unfold on a 3D globe:
> Airspace clearing over Tehran
> Ground strike coordinates locking in
> Severe GPS interference blinding the region
> EO and SAR satellites making passes over the strike zone
> No-fly zones locking down 9 countries
> Shipping fleets scrambling at the Strait of Hormuz
It's pretty amazing how complete of a picture you can build without "proprietary data fusion" -- one dev with public signals and a love for computer graphics and geospatial intelligence.
Thank you for all the love on my last post. Dropping WorldView in April. This my friends is just the beginning.

Prime Minister Carney must explain how he has gone from saying China was Canada’s 'biggest security threat' before the election to announcing a 'strategic partnership' with Beijing after the election.
His agreement will allow 50,000 EVs onto our streets jeopardizing our security and auto jobs. This follows him breaking his promise to 'negotiate a win' and get a deal with the U.S. by last July.
Despite giving a billion-dollar taxpayer loan for Beijing to build our ships, there is no guarantee that tariffs on canola and other Canadian goods will be permanently, immediately, or completely eliminated. Meanwhile, Canadian pork farmers still will keep paying the 25% tariff.
It’s time for Canadians to have a government that will put our country first and protect our security, our jobs and our sovereignty.

@EricStruk I would say it’s only bad if the niche is too small to support a sustainable and profitable channel.
You benefited from niching down, the unfortunate con is now you have an audience to look after.
It’s sort of like having a child haha.

@JimmyFarley00 Whats the best way to get in contact? Can Canadian creators get on-boarded for this despite TT shop not being available here?

Lisa Raitt "The reality of the situation as I see it, David, is that real live decisions are being made by real businesses in this country about whether or not they are going to move their operation to some state in the United States."
"Family offices are looking at it."
"Small and medium sized businesses are because the signal they're not getting from federal and provincial government is that they actually have an idea of how to proceed through this dilemma in a, in a careful way that's going to end up being okay at the end."
"There's so much uncertainty right now in the business sector, especially in small and medium sized businesses."
"I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. It is really jarring to hear ordinary Canadian business people say, I think I really got to think about closing up shop here and moving, moving to the States because I don't know where this is all going to end." @lraitt

Ai video is still very weird to me. Some of the sora 2 stuff is unsettling generations and it’s crazy to see where we are going. It’s on the edge of forced and unsettling because it often lacks any emotion and often still has a “fake” quality making it feel sloppy. I do know it will only get better and better for many years to come in shocking ways to everyone
We’re approaching an era where anything can be generated and we will be overloaded by fake visuals for the near future. Anyone can write or prompt and post ai created content.
Barrier to entry is now 0 for videos.
It will be hard to tell what is real and fake to many and they will constantly call real things fake and fake things real.
Ai videos will oneshot boomers on facebook as most on there are already floating around in a world that doesn’t feel like the one they grew up.
The ai slop is keeping them sedated like a Sackler family OxyContin. The new sedation of short form we’ve seen take over the world the last 5 years is mind blowing.
It actually makes me way more bullish on the next 5 years of real, sharp, non generated visuals as billions are fed slop gens whenever they open their social apps.
We’ll see a divorce.
People who love ai video and people who hate it.
The algos will still push anything that gets engagement and view time by design. Maybe it’s a short term fad that the algos/people love now, but it’s hard to wrap my head around an entire world of slop gen content.
Feels way more like a meme maker than a movie.
Hollywood cgi will get better and cheaper. Camera angles will get crazier because they’re generated. I see it heavily as a filler for videos and a crutch to lean on to generate clips that normally would be take crazy ways to make/green screen/ save on travel to locations/set building etc. Budgets take things further when you can save millions with generations.
It will be a great tool to the right artist.
It will change the game for 3d renders.
It will use mega power and gpu demand but unlike a computer in your house processing/rendering, it’s 3rd party “rendering for you” and you wait for your prompt creation to pop out. This feeds the instant gratification outcome world which flywheels usage. This is mind blowing from a normal creative stand point of film, edit, render, design etc.
With that said, stock sites are mega cooked. No reason to spend $100-1000s a year on stock in the future. You’ll be able to generate the best stock and broll possible for anything.
Creative bounds will be pushed with ai. Storytelling has no gatekeeper. The best writers can become the best video creators. The best video creators can be a kid anywhere in the world feeding ideas into a prompt box. If anything, it’s going to mint a lot of new talent that can tell stories and piece together ideas.
We’re in the wild west of media and it will be interesting to watch it unfold
I’m mega bullish on video content and social media until the attention economy is gone. I’ve been making videos since I was 8, 21+ years now. When I started I was using a GoPro Hero 1 that barely had HD video. Now GoPro is approaching bankruptcy. Times change fast. The iPhone 17 has a camera 100x more power than a GoPro hero 1. Innovation is amazing.
We’ve come a long way. The world is heavily in social media consumption psychosis. That’s the trend of the 2020s imo
Wonder where we trend in the 2030s. Probably way crazier tech and advancements until the next shiny thing resets attention

How Canada's short-term thinking sparked a national housing crisis
Analysts say much of the problem can be traced back to government, with taxes now comprising the largest cost in the price of a new home
