The chest plate for my Mandalorian armor is constructed, this is heat-moldable plastic, sheets of which I've "welded" together with a soldering iron on low heat.

Here's the progress on the blaster rifle for my Mandalorian costume! Started with just a single thick walled cardboard tube, and cut chunks out of it where clear acrylic will go, then I've made and shaped the stock and handle. The next step for the blaster is to fiberglass it!

So about a week ago, maybe two, I was encouraged to make a Halloween costume. I'm making a suit of Mandalorian armor. October 1st I started working on it and ordered the helmet I'm going to modify. This first picture is the template I made for the chest plate and stomach.

Evacuating from the #CALDORFIRE a week ago, I had to slam on the brakes, sending my super star destroyer through my car and into the dashboard, after four hours of searching the car I'm proud to report only one piece broke! #LEGO tougher than most cars! How much for this part?

Update, #LEGO is amazing and replaces broken parts for free, so I sent a request in to them!
