@ProfMJCleveland It is an ironic tragedy that a country with a Free Press in its constitution has a press that is just as, if not more, corrupt than any propaganda organ in a totalitarian country.

There is no co-existence with radical Islam in any country in the world. That is inconsistent with their reading of the Koran. There are only countries already conquered and converted, and countries to be conquered and converted. Nothing else.
Yossi BenYakar@YossiBenYakar

A Palestinian Islamic scholar in Chicago, Mohammad Nusairat, said this openly: “We did not come here to coexist. We are superior to everyone else. If other religions want to live with us, they have to worship Allah.” This is not a call for coexistence. This is a declaration of supremacy. And it’s being said openly in the West, without shame or hesitation. Thoughts?

Many enemies have tried to annihilate the Jewish people across generations. From the Romans, to the Nazis, and today Hamas and the Islamic regime in Iran. Yet here we are , the Jewish people, alive and thriving in our ancestral homeland, the State of Israel. Am Yisrael Chai.

On This Day — May 15, 1948: The Jews Refused to Die Again While every newspaper & radio pundit on Earth was already writing Israel’s obituary, something completely insane happened. On this day, 5 Arab armies (Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon) plus Saudi contingents invaded the newborn Jewish state with one declared goal: finish what Hitler started & “drive the Jews into the sea.” The math was grotesque: 600,000 Jews (men, women, and children) versus a combined Arab population of nearly 200 million with professional armies, British officers, and Soviet weapons. Israel had almost nothing — homemade Sten guns, Molotov cocktails, and whatever rifles could be scrounged. Britain and America both enforced a total arms embargo. The world waited for the slaughter. Instead, the Jews did the impossible. From the displaced-persons camps of Europe and from across the West came roughly 4,000 Machal volunteers — battle-hardened WWII veterans from Britain, the United States, Canada, and South Africa. Fighter pilots, bomber crews, and infantry officers dropped everything and rushed in. One of the most surreal moments: a young Jewish radio repairman from England arrived with zero combat experience. When asked what he could do, he said he fixed radios. The commanders’ eyes lit up. A shipment of broken walkie-talkies had just arrived. He and one Israeli partner spent weeks in a dusty former British camp bringing them back to life, one by one, so Israeli troops could finally talk to each other on the battlefield. Then came the miracles even the Bible might envy. Stalin, hoping to pull the socialist-leaning Israel into the Soviet orbit, secretly allowed Communist Czechoslovakia to become Israel’s lifeline. Prague sold the Jews Messerschmitt 109 fighters (assembled in secret), Spandau machine guns, rifles, ammunition, and bombs. Three B-17 Flying Fortresses were quietly bought in Panama, flown to Czechoslovakia, loaded with arms, and smuggled straight into a war zone — heavy bombers delivered to a country that didn’t officially exist two days earlier. Against every prediction, the tide turned. Israel lost 1% of its entire population in the fighting — a higher per-capita death toll than Britain suffered in all of World War II. Hardly a family was untouched. But by early 1949, the invading armies were pushed back and the armistice lines (the “Green Line”) were drawn — lines the Arab side itself insisted were temporary military lines only, never borders. This wasn’t just a military victory. This was the Jewish people — survivors of pogroms, exiles, and the Holocaust, joined by Jews who had never left the Middle East — declaring with their blood that after 2,000 years of wandering and persecution, they would never again be defenseless in their ancestral homeland. That is why a strong, sovereign, self-reliant Israel is not optional. It is the difference between survival and another chapter in the long book of Jewish tragedy. Never again will Jews have to beg strangers for the right to live. Never again will our survival depend on the fleeting “kindness” of empires that look away. Israel is the guarantee — secured by Jewish strength, not by the mercy of others. Am Yisrael Chai.🇮🇱

Here's something that comes around about once every lifetime. Zero out and all of a sudden the inning is over. A triple play is something so rare. 82 years before this was the last one. 🔥⚾️

Just leaving Milwaukee after the 150 year Anniversary celebration of Jockey. Not too bad for a small company from Kenosha. I forgot how enjoyable Milwaukee is now that I don’t have to get Yount, Molitor, cooper, Ogilvie, etc out. Unbelievable new convention center with the friendliest people ever.

I can't stand people like this. I spend so much time talking about how we should defeat the dems in the midterms, trying to urge people to NEVER vote Democrat, I call them out repeatedly... But when I RIGHTFULLY criticize Anna Paulina Luna for being a sensationalist tool... now I get accused of attacking Republicans "all day" F this. I am sorry that someone you look up to in Congress is a fraud and a liar... but I will always call that out. I want to beat the left, not become them.

@Shawn_Farash I like shawn but lately all he does is go after republicans. Plenty of democrats to criticize no need to attack republicans all day.

Greg Burgess writes.... So apparently Jill and I are on a plane to China with Trump, Elon Musk, half the Cabinet, and a collection of CEOs whose combined net worth could probably refinance the moon. Totally normal day for Gen X. And I just can’t stop laughing at how the media spent YEARS telling us: - China hated Elon - Trump was “finished” - America was collapsing - capitalism was dead - and everybody important was abandoning the U.S. Meanwhile, here we are somewhere over the Pacific looking like the cast of Succession meets Top Gun: Retirement Plan Edition. Remember when China sanctioned Marco Rubio back in 2020 and everybody acted like the geopolitical chessboard had permanently shifted? Now suddenly everybody’s still showing up to the table because — shocking development — nations tend to like: - money - technology - manufacturing - trade - AI - energy - semiconductors - and not being economically irrelevant Who knew. The best part is the internet meltdown cycle never changes. Trump: “America needs stronger trade relationships.” Media: “HITLER.” Elon: “I make electric cars, rockets, satellites, AI, and robots.” Internet activists: “Yeah but we posted an angry hashtag.” Cool. I’m sure Beijing is trembling before your TikTok resistance movement. And flying with this group is exactly what you think it would be. Trump walks around the cabin narrating reality like it’s an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Geopolitical: “Great flight. Powerful people. Very high IQ. The Chinese are saying they’ve never seen anything like it.” Elon looks like he hasn’t slept since 2019 and is simultaneously calculating orbital trajectories and wondering if the beverage cart could be automated. Meanwhile Jill and I are sitting there like two exhausted Gen Xers who survived dial-up internet, chain-smoking restaurants, lawn darts, and drinking from garden hoses… wondering how in the hell we became side characters in the weirdest timeline imaginable. Honestly, at this point if Trump walked into Beijing blasting “Danger Zone” while Elon live-streamed it from orbit, I wouldn’t even blink. Because the people who told us America was over are still tweeting from iPhones, driving Teslas, using Starlink during hurricanes, and cashing checks tied to the same capitalist machine they claim to hate. Gen X translation: The world’s still running. The adults are still making deals. And the internet is still confusing hashtags for accomplishments. Carry on.

Roger Staubach: Duty Before Glory 🫡 In 1963, Roger Staubach won the Heisman at Navy. The Cowboys drafted him in 1964 with big money waiting. He said no. He had sworn an oath to his country. Four years active duty in the Vietnam era. He volunteered for combat zones — Da Nang and Chu Lai. No shortcuts, no special treatment. By the time he joined Dallas in 1969, he was already 27. Rode the bench, then took over at 29. Super Bowl VI Champion & MVP. Super Bowl XII Champion. NFL MVP. “Captain Comeback.” Hall of Famer. All of it came after he put America first. No complaints. No excuses. Just honor, sacrifice, and excellence. That’s what real America First looks like. We need more men like Staubach. 🇺🇸

Kash Patel just served Van Hollen a flaming margarita receipt in the middle of the Senate hearing! 🤣 Senator Chris Van Hollen struts in, all red-faced and righteous, grilling FBI Director Kash Patel over some Atlantic hit piece claiming he's slinging drinks on the job. “Do you know it's a CRIME to lie to Congress?!” Van Hollen lectures. Patel? Cool as ice, looks him dead in the eye: “The only one slinging margaritas is YOU.” Then drops the hammer — posts the FEC filing right there showing Van Hollen's campaign dropped **$7,128** at a Lobby Bar for “catering” back in December. Boom. Receipts hotter than the bar tab. Kash didn't just clap back — he turned the hearing into a comedy roast. Offered to take the alcohol test side-by-side with Van Hollen too. Legend. Hypocrisy exposed, swamp rattled, and America watching with popcorn. Kash is built different. 🤣

During the closing days of 1944, editors at the London edition of Stars and Stripes decided to select a frontline GI as "Our Man of the Year." This was American tanker Sgt. John Parks, 4th Armored Division, whose face show no glorious propaganda smile, but the reality of war. Parks was killed in December 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge. He was shot from his hatch, fell into his tank which went up in flames from enemy fire. Nothing left but ashes.
