Hey CT, quick update.
Tried to stay plugged into Web3, but my focus is Web2. That’s where the real action is for my coffee business.
The goal is clear. Scale with a real path to profitability with my coffee business.
Eventually, I want to tokenize Coffee Culture and bring the @AbstractEllies community along for the ride. How exactly? Not 100% clear yet.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been strengthening connections with hotels. A few new clients are in the pipeline, though things move slowly in the corporate world.
Our first major KOL partnership is getting close. ☕🚀
We’re also in talks with a large retailer in Hong Kong and an importer in Russia. Unfortunately, our Qatar partner isn’t moving forward for obvious reasons.
We’ve also found a path to FDA approval for our capsules and potentially our drip bags. That unlocks the US market, which is huge for us, but it will take some time.
Overall, the action is in Web2 right now. Building solid revenue and establishing strong sales channels is the priority.
✌️🙌

5/12 Plan: Build strong locally first, incorporating @AbstractEllies & 🐧's vibes as we grow. 🇹🇭's our home base+free/fast shipping, we already have established biz (clients like Ritz-Carlton, Amanpuri, TikTok & thousands of clients). It just makes sense to double down here!

I've interviewed 400+ people in crypto and one thing keeps repeating:
The most qualified candidates almost always undersell themselves. They usually downplay their experience and second guess themselves
While the least qualified ones are always the loudest and usually have no idea what it takes to ship
I think it comes from the fact that when you've actually been in the trenches building, you know how much you don't know and how messy it can become behind the scenes
That awareness is what makes you good at the job, you don't downplay what it takes to reach success
If you're sitting in an in there feeling like you don't belong, that's probably a good sign. The people who should be worried rarely are

@StarPlatinum_ Much easier if we talk about the ones that are still working…
Because there are such cases… right?

@lex_node @nikitabier It’s curious to see all of you saying this shit when 3 months ago you were all trying to “discover the algorithm”.
English

. @nikitabier please understand us, we used to love this app and are trying to stay loyal
but no one here gives a fuck about "measuring posting ability"; we are here to have fun, socialize and sometimes get business or investment opportunities as part of that
P.S., also all it takes is a basic grasp of goodhart's law to see how bad an idea it would be to build the app around "measuring" anything

@BR4ted NFTs are dead and one of the reasons is the so considered “web3 marketers”.
English

NFTs are far from being dead.
Lately, I’ve been seeing many people lose hope in NFTs which is understandable after a 90% downturn and a bear market lasting over three years.
From my perspective, NFTs were overpriced in 2021–2022 due to the first wave and the hype surrounding them.
Now, NFTs have matured a lot, which I believe is a net positive in the long run. Some NFT collections will remain pure art collections while others will need to expand their IP and provide real utility.
I think NFTs will be fun again but not in a way where collections reach 100 ETH floor prices quickly. We will see NFTs move up but this time only teams that expand, generate revenue and build sustainably will survive. The remaining 99% of collections will likely disappear.
A few examples:
• CryptoPunks: Provenance
• Bored Ape Yacht Club: IP, gaming and metaverse
• Pudgy Penguins: IP, consumer products and more
These are just a few examples. Yes, it’s definitely depressing to see floor prices this low. Yes, I’m down as well. But is this the end? Definitely not.
We will see a rise in NFT collections across the board and my bet remains on the majors. Am I bidding right now? No. Am I planning to bid on NFTs? Definitely yes.
Don’t forget you always wanted to buy Punks, Chromie Squiggles, BAYC, PP, Azuki, Doodles, Moonbirds, Captainz, Hypurr, Milady and more when they had high 5-6 figure floor prices. So why not now when they’re available at such a discount?
My belief, conviction and money remain where my mouth is. I’ll either learn a big lesson from this or make something good out of it nothing in between.
NFTs will be fun again.

@luismbat You didn’t took into account that the parents threw his plane ticket by mistake and that’s why when they count the kids they forget him.
Redo the study, properly.

@frankdegods Why did bots appear in the first place, Frank?
Never thought you could be so shallow.

@galileowilson @xerocooleth Most touristic countries were saying the same until they lost all their tourists.
Instead of transforming them into citizens, you sent them to a different destination.
Great.

Why are engagement rates dropping for everyone
And why are we seeing more AI slop replies?
Everyone's getting hit
Here's why:
> X recently flagged many human accounts as spam and publicly announced mass suspensions
> Many people quit since October 10 liquidations
> X is in the middle of switching the algo to Grok, so what posts worked before may not work now
> Bitcoin fell below $100k for the first time in 6 months in November, signaling a likely cycle end
> Pepe, Pengu, and many prominent memecoins broke long term support lines in Oct and Nov
> Crypto TGEs and ICOs began failing more than not
> Some inf0fi platforms had some really negative launches and payments recently, causing quits
> Reduction in humans and advances in AI plus reduced AI agent costs increased AI slop repliers

How to destroy your project reputation in one tweet…
Oluwafemi Adenigba@0xfemi
As a data analyst, this’s the worst pie chart I have ever seen. lmao Nigeria had to be detached from Africa for the agenda. Zero IQ move.
English

@jamesrichardfry I was speaking with a “crypto marketeer” a couple of days ago.
They didn’t even know what an a/b test is.
English

@mickeyhardy So basically hire the one who will work and solve your issues for free.
And then we complain about the current state of jobs in web3.
English

I get 50 DMs a week asking for a job. 49 of them send a CV. 1 sends a solution.
I hire the 1.
If you are young and hungry in this industry, here is the cheat code I wish someone gave me:
Don't ask for permission to work.
Pick a project you love (maybe even ours).
Find a hole in their game (bad content, broken UX, weak community vibes).
Fix it.
Send the founder the fixed version and say, "I did this for free. Imagine what I’d do if you paid me."
That is High Agency. That is how you skip the line.
The industry is desperate for killers, not employees. Be a killer.
