@bradluttrell Been a fan for almost 15 years and this might end up being my favorite album.
English

I say this all the time. You’re a fan of an album, not the artist. It’s fine.

They aren’t Tyler Childers fans. They’re just fans of Purgatory. It’s that simple, y’all.
English

@bradluttrell I’ve had this on repeat since Friday morning. So good.

Nicholas Jamerson dropped a beautiful song today.
Here is what Nick had to say about "Dark in Every Day"
"I was born in 1985. I didn’t grow up with a phone in my hand. The internet didn’t really show up until junior high. I remember the sound of dial-up, the patience it took to wait on things to load. I was a freshman in college when Facebook started to spread. I’ve lived right on the edge of two worlds—part analog, part digital.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how much noise there is. How much we’re asked to carry every day. Facebook memories, old pictures, news, opinions, updates. Some days I feel buried in it. Not just by what’s happening now—but by everything that’s already happened, showing back up in my pocket.
I’ve been trying to stay grounded. Trying to keep one foot in the modern world and one in the woods. When it gets too loud, I go outside. When it gets too heavy, I unplug. It’s not perfect, but it helps.
This new song, “Dark in Every Day,” was born from that space—where I’m trying to sort through the weight, and still look for light. That’s what the whole record is about, really. It’s easy to get off track, but I’m doing my best to walk the narrow way."
Cowritten with Don Rogers, who also dropped an album. Produced by Rachel Baiman.

A house is floating down the river in Frankfort - shared by a friend who is flooded. So sad @LEX18News

@ModelAyshaMirza True, however, some chiropractors are also certified medical examiners and can perform DOT physicals for commercial drivers. I live in Central Kentucky and quite a few of our local chiropractors are medical examiners.
English

Chiropractors are not medical physicians.

@Kno_5 He was actually very popular in school and he’s a great guy

@bradluttrell I’ve not seen where anyone has commented on this but his voice sounds different now and I’m assuming it’s because of the dental work he’s had. Not better or worse really, just different. Am I the only one noticing this?
English

@wldchld512 @bradluttrell Immediate tears. That one was especially rough on me first thing yesterday morning.
English

@bradluttrell Gravelweed and that line "now that I live to see my melodies betray me, I'm sorry that the love songs all mean different things today"...goddamn...
English

I feel dirty.
I feel like I'm reading his text messages while he's in the bathroom.
I feel like I went through his personal emails.
I feel like I read his journal.
I feel like I just listened to the most autobiographical body of work he's ever produced.
This is definitely not your standard Isbell, in that we're used to characters he invents. In this case, he is the main character.
First impression: Excellent release. Will be listening 2-3 more times today.

@tallnslim1 Or what if we’re part of a giant “ant” farm created by some middle school kid from another galaxy for a science project he got a D on.

@CoreyRForrester @drivebytruckers Saw them last night in Lexington, KY. I always take a minute at their shows to look around and appreciate just how damn happy everyone is, myself included.
English

In times like these it’s important to remember that America’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band The @drivebytruckers are out there doing their thing and you can go listen to their beautiful loud asses and be washed in the blood of Southern Rock

@D_S_Nelson @ThatOneShowBC Overall the sound was great but his vocals were difficult to hear. It took me a while to realize he was singing “You Don’t Miss Your Water” because I couldn’t make out the words. We were in section 31.

English

@ThatOneShowBC Actually. What did you think of the sound? Some Reddit folks are somewhat complaining about it.
English

@bradluttrell @hal_kempson Forgot, he did add Something More than Free and they were on stage almost a full 2 hours so I have no complaints. I do think Super 8 would’ve livened the crowd up though.
English

@ErinHiten @hal_kempson He skipped 3 off the set list? One of my complaints about his live sets is they’re just too short. He could do 2-3 more songs usually. I get leaving them wanting more and I don’t need Dave Grohl energy for 2.5 hours.
English

@hal_kempson @bradluttrell Guy in front of me took a pic of the set list. They didn’t play Life You Chose, Super 8, or 24 Frames and the cover song was Just Like Heaven by The Cure. Calmest crowd I’ve ever seen at one of their shows. Few people standing. Great, as always, but I miss the smaller venues.

English

@bradluttrell You catch him last night? He and 400 Unit are so tight. Great set list.
