@Heddysteve I’ve seen tyler since 2013. It’s pretty normal for artists to stick around and hang out by the merch table afterwards. Tyler never did that. I don’t mean it as a negative, I think it added to his “aura.”

@Smuphy I love Tyler’s music. Been going to shows since 2018. Idk what you mean by him being gone after shows??? He’s playing sheds he’s not stopping to shake everyone’s hand as they leave. I’m guessing you’re saying in a dumb soical media way he’s sober so it’s different

I saw Tyler quite a few times during these days. He was quiet, not much crowd work, just guitar and songs. When his set was over he was gone. He feels like a completely different person now. Still great, but different. Hard Times - Tyler Childers.

@Smuphy His raw acoustic stuff is fun but by every objective measure he’s better now. The music, the voice, the show. Each time I’ve seen him it’s been steadily better He’s played with his sound and lyrical approach so much that some will not like these tangents. And that’s ok

@JustinCredy I was more comparing it to the other guys playing these smaller venues. Most times they’ll hang around the merch booth and take pictures etc.

@Smuphy Not saying he's too big for his fans or anything, but at least currently, Id expect the places he plays to turn the bright flood lights on and kick everyone out and I wouldn't expect to see him hanging out by the ampitheatre parking lot lol

@TheKro16 I saw him without out knowing who he was the first time. First song he played was rock salt and nails and then Oneida. I was tearing up cause I knew I was watching something special.

@tevordoley22 I think Charley probably realized it’d look bad on tour with him and this was his way of getting out of it. Took the lumps as the “bad guy” meanwhile they got a TON of publicity.

What new shows announced? New record? Could this be a whole bit? Never would have guessed this by the rollout of them being dropped at all When I said I wanted good marketing? This is what I meant by this. Better than most other garbage I see for “marketing” these days
