Users should make themselves aware of battery type and orientation prior to use to ensure safe operation. Pipettes and Tubing: We can confirm that both items are manufactured from food grade materials and don’t require sterilisation for the intended use. They are not medical devices and do not have direct contact with the recipient. The pipettes are classed as single use. Best before date: We can confirm that the best before date and ingredients are displayed on the main outer package and meets EU/UK legislation. In addition we also intend to have this information added to each individual sachet.

Would really recommend all dysphagia SLTs read this paper to gain a more holistic understanding of the risks associated with being NBM. Supporting informed decision making with our patients means we ourselves have to have the knowledge & understanding to inform them.
