@atrupar The food needs to be shelf stable and freezable - sandwiches get mushy and jam separates. Tortellini is simpler than sandwiches

Why don’t they just serve like P&J sandwiches on long flights? On mine today they served 3 cheese tortellini and that stuff looked like leftovers from the Reagan administration that were forgotten about in a fridge, run over by a car and then reheated.
