Your behavior cannot possibly lead to anything good. To achieve change you have to work with people who don't see things exactly like you do. That's the only way.

Many of the great leaders of the past had dark personal histories, and I have a suspicion that the same vril or raw energy life force that drives someone to reshape the world also makes them more willing to cross boundaries.
Of course, when that spills into abuse, it’s wrong, but pretending you can isolate greatness from that underlying drive is wishful thinking.
Today, we live in a digital surveillance state where everything is recorded and permanently accessible. Leadership is no longer selected from those with the most force of will, but from those with the least public flaws. We are selecting for people who are safe and compliant rather than people who are willing to take real risks.
This leaves us with leaders who are managerial caretakers instead of those willing to shape the world.
