After this man got gas, he got into his car and noticed a bunch on quarters and nickels and dimes in his cup holder. He decides to go back in and get a drink, the cashier at the Walmart gas station flat out says it’s not her job to count money and stands there ignoring him. Was it rude for him to pay in this method or is she wrong and it is her job to count it?

Traces of Texas reader Guy Choate kindly sent in this photo of the headstone for one Ernest Lee Odiorne. It is in the Marble Falls Cemetery in Marble Falls. Guy said that Ernest sounds like he would have been an interesting man to meet and I have to agree. Sounds like he had accumulated some hard-won wisdom. 😀 Thank you, Guy. I love it!
