We created a fake restaurant on Glovo and Chowdeck using a made-up tax ID, a false address, and photos stolen from a real Lagos restaurant. Within a few weeks, we had a device, completed onboarding training, and made a sale. techpoint.africa/insight/invest…

I manage a small block of four flats in Surulere for my landlord, who relocated to Canada. My job is simple: collect the rent, fix the pumping machine when it spoils, and make sure nobody causes trouble in the compound. Last month, a new tenant moved into the top floor. He was a very quiet guy. He paid a year's rent upfront in cash and hardly ever came outside during the day. But at night, the problem started. Every single night, exactly around 2 AM, I would hear a heavy, scraping sound coming from his flat. It sounded like somebody dragging a very heavy sack of rice across the floor tiles. It would stop, and then start again. It gave me a very bad feeling. I started thinking maybe he was doing something illegal, or maybe hiding stolen goods. Last night, I couldn't sleep. The dragging sound was louder than usual. I decided I had to find out what was going on.

Also, Christians who seek to honour Christ don't cohabit. They don't put themselves in a place where they can be tempted. Plus, they know that premarital sex is a sin. Like, until you're married, you're not married, even if your wedding is one day away. They know that our God, who is all-wise, wants our best and would have legitimized fornication if it is required for a successful marriage. Christians who honour Jesus give NO PLACE to the devil. Cohabiting gives PLACE to the devil. DICTIONARY. Cohabiting: Share living quarters; usually said of people who are not married and live together as a couple. – Reposted. From Jan. 2024

If you are a MBBS student in UI, UCH, and you have taken a course in the department of Medical microbiology and Parasitology, you most likely would have come across Dr. Fowotade. She specializes in Virology. Very brilliant woman. She taught me during my MSc. I was so fascinated by her brilliance and wealth of knowledge. After my first semester, I sent an email requesting if she will be interested in being my mentor. She responded, "Amao, can you come over to my office and let's talk about it." When I met with her, she asked, "what do you need from me? What are your expectations?" I told her and she said that won't be a problem. She asked if I have ever written any review papers before? I told her Yes but not yet published. At that moment, she said, "I will be writing a review soon and you will be part of it." Wow! Just like that! The review paper was published that same year. She connected me with someone that would be helpful for my research and offered me a space in her lab. I wasn't supposed to be paid but she paid me handsomely. When I needed recommendations, she gladly accepted. I requested if I can write it to ease her cos I knew how busy her schedules could be. I wrote about two pages and sent them to her. I didn't need to remind her of my deadlines. She was always responding on time. When I published my second book, she bought copies... She was such a blessing. She believed in me and gave me the needed platforms. She literally moved from being my mentor to being a family in the long run. The take home is this; don't be afraid to approach that person you have been admiring from afar. Just that one request could open more than enough doors for you through them!

I usually don’t do things like this, but please if you’re a believer in Christ don’t skip this post. We are entering a very precarious season in the spirit I saw strong men fall How you would know that you’re going through this season is that you will be struggling with your flesh more than ever before Things that you thought you have overcome wil me begin to pop up in your radar Prayer will become harder than ever (Please if you’re going through this all. Ready bear witness in the comments) How we will survive this season is by staying in the word Now more than ever, stay in the word. Breathe the word Eat the word Just STAY IN THE WORD Don’t be careless this season, I beg of you.

You can be active in church… and still be spiritually dry. You can sing, serve, show up but inside, the fire is low. Spiritual dryness doesn’t mean you hate God. It means your soul needs water again. A Thread ...

Anytime my husband and I fought, I stopped cooking. I didn’t care if he had eaten or not. I would just make food for myself and leave him to sort himself out. He never argued. He would simply order food or fix something for himself. I’d only resume cooking when I was calm again. Then one month, we had another fight… and as usual, I didn’t cook. The month ended, and he still sent my allowance… Plus the full foodstuff money like he always does. He even sent the money he had promised my dad. I was surprised. I asked him why he would still send food money when I hadn’t been cooking. He simply said, “Because it’s my responsibility.” I felt so ashamed. That was the last time I ever did that. Now, even when I’m upset, I still cook for him. And I’ve noticed something… Most of our quarrels don’t even last anymore. Somehow, we always end up talking things out while eating. Small things like this save marriages.
