The main reasons Java content creators continue to make Java content. 1) replay mod, world edit, shaders 2) content based mods 3) variety of parity differences 4) it's where they started So, what happens in 3 years when 1-3 are fixed, and #1 is better on Bedrock?

@Prowl8413 there are also way less custom bedrock servers (these things can take literal years to develop, with hundreds of thousands of lines of code, maybe millions). these servers are useful for custom minigames and lobbies and experiments.

@Prowl8413 #2 gotta pay for everything, while on java it's free seriously takes 3+ seconds to join/leave servers? i haven't seen a single usable launcher yet harder to troubleshoot when something goes wrong you can't dynamically reload the game in an IDE process hooks aren't cross platform

@Prowl8413 you don't just have a bunch of people switch to something else like robots. many people develop things in their free time for free and for whatever platform they think is best. if they shut down that platform, they leave. they don't just mindlessly get brainwashed and switch.
