I've noticed a lot of recent tier lists putting NINJUTSO in the mid to lower tiers, which is kind of crazy to me. Personally, I've had them in S tier ever since the original Sora released. Obviously not everyone is going to feel the same way, and they're definitely not perfect. I think communication is one area they could still improve on. That said, I'm curious what everyone else thinks. What are your thoughts on the brand and their products?

@Escaldi Yea I’m not here trying to say they are the worst but all you have to do is take 30 mins or so. Conduct a statement for the public and then post it. It makes everyone feel better.

@papacharliegame Crazy that I’ve had the opposite experience. Though I will admit my Sora V2 did eventually creak after almost 2 years of use.

@Escaldi Build quality overall on the Ten and New Sora felt subpar. Scroll wheel felt squishy. Slight creaking.

@Escaldi I never had any issues with my Ninjutso mice. Build quality could def be improved on but def seeing them being placed so low on tier list didn’t feel right to me.

I also had sensor issues with my V2. Even though it was out of warranty almost by a year, they still replaced it after contacting them. Other than that their mice have been solid for me. Agreed on the communication part. I think most people would be more forgiving of hardware/software issues if they were updating us about the problems and what they were doing to resolve it.

Love their shapes, but I have issues with my shell on the older Sora V2, especially firmware sensor issues too - but my Sora V3 unit is very solid even though I heard issues in early beta models, but my V3 is good so far (with the exception of the warranty sticker in the screw holes). Wish to try more new mouse releases from them in the future. I do think they need to work on building a community better, since transparency is important to me. I just feel like the brand tier-list is very subjective on many factors, especially a lot from experience, so I get that the brand has been rated inconsistently

Okay, let me see if I've got this right. 1. You don't recommend the brand, but you've never actually used any of their products yourself. I can understand that to a point. If you've tried enough mice, you usually know what shapes, weights, and features work for you. And if there are reviewers you trust who have similar preferences, their opinions can definitely help you decide whether something is worth looking into. But I think there's a difference between saying "it doesn't seem like it's for me" and outright dismissing a product you've never used. Reviews and research are useful, but they're not the same as firsthand experience. It's hard to make a definitive judgment on something you've only seen from the outside. 2. You think the mice are expensive. For context: OG Sora: $94.99 Sora V2: $99.99 Ten: $89.99 Ten Air: $99.99 Sora V3: $119.99 Looking at what other brands were charging around those same release windows, I'd say Ninjutso has generally been pretty competitive on pricing. In some cases, they were even cheaper than comparable options. 3. You mentioned QC issues like creaking. That's fair. Every brand has had QC issues at some point. What I don't understand is why that criticism seems to stick with Ninjutso more than other brands. Pulsar had plenty of QC complaints in its early years. Endgame Gear had delays and issues surrounding the XM2 launch. Yet most people don't immediately tell others to avoid those brands altogether because of it. I'm not trying to be a Ninjutso defender here. I've said before that their communication could definitely be better. I just think it's a bit unfair to say a product is bad or not worth recommending when you've never actually used it yourself. It's one thing to say, "I've heard mixed things, so I'd be cautious." It's another to write something off completely without any firsthand experience.

@Escaldi I'll make this clear so there's no confusion about it, I've never had any of their mice, but I do a lot of research, and do a lot to know how mice are. From what ive seen, the quality control can be iffy at times and returns are rather hard. Their mice tend to be expensive.

@mjrmonkey I was lucky with my review copy and had no issues aside from the flex at the front - which is absolutely a non-issue imo.

@Escaldi Yeah i’m not super familiar with the details but i remember there was the initial release and then a pause while they try and fix the issue. From what i understand I think they fixed it?

@Escaldi Honestly, I ignore tier lists as every single one is subjective to the person making them. One of the brands that all put high up, are the only brand I have had 100% failure rate with, yet a brand most put right at bottom, no issues at all & been through some horrendous drops etc

Can only speak on personal experience but the Sora and the Ten have been great mice and really enjoyed them. With that being said the whole 8k dongle fiasco with the Sora v2 was ridiculous and the issues with the v3 aren’t great but it seems like they have worked those things out. Was also thinking it was kinda odd seeing them so low but at the end of the day peripherals are a subjective topic and there’ll never be anything objective about it. What I like and deem as perfect isn’t for others and vice versa.

I really enjoyed my sora v2. But we waited forever for the 8k dongle. Which isn’t the biggest thing. But the way they basically ghosted the community for months is not acceptable. Idc what is happening, just let us know what is going on. I understand they are a small team but if you know you can’t produce the numbers you are saying then just say that.

The CRDRAKO KO-ONE has been a pleasant surprise. At 17x11cm using primarily a claw grip, the shape feels right at home. It has a narrow front similar to the OP1, a wider rear section, and a shorter overall length. It also gives off slight Xtrfy MZ1 vibes due to how thin it feels in hand, though the shapes are not directly comparable. The main clicks are excellent. They're light, crisp, tactile, and feel consistent across the entire keyplate. Both buttons sound and feel nearly identical with only slightly more pre travel on the left click. Post travel is minimal on both. The scroll wheel features well defined steps, good grip, and a reasonably light middle click that is easy to spam. Side buttons are on the smaller side but remain easy to use, offering good tactile feedback with minimal travel. Performance has been flawless with no sensor issues during testing. Build quality is equally impressive, with a solid shell, no rattles, and very little side flex. At 39.9g with the stock full size skates installed, the KO-ONE feels light while maintaining good weight balance. The skates are thick, rounded, and provide a smooth glide. The coating is fairly basic with an eggshell-like texture that isn't the most grippy but never feels slippery either. When I first received the mouse I did struggle getting it to update to the latest firmware at the time, but now I'm thinking it was more of my PC since no one else I asked seemed to have an issue updating to the firmware at that point in time. Honestly, I haven't updated to the very latest firmware but I did see some say there was noticeable battery drain. Something to keep in mind. I'll hold off until another update comes along. Overall, the CRDRAKO KO-ONE delivers excellent clicks, great build quality, low weight, and solid performance. Aside from a few software and connectivity quirks I experienced in the beginning, it's a very solid package. Available here (non-affiliate): crdrako.com/products/ko-one
