@stephenfishbach @CherylMigatz I suspect I keep falling for Probst insisting that there’s no such thing as a winner’s edit, but when he describes their editing process, it sounds exactly like a winner’s edit. I also feel the “winner’s edit” is sometimes like seeing Jesus on a piece of toast.

My bigger concern is there were “rumors” that Aubry was the winner dating back to when her screen time consisted of nothing but not getting along w/Genevieve.

@TheMahiMike @SharpStats17 And a week from now some teams that they already played could be over .500 and wouldn’t that change the numbers again? Teams like the Mariners and the Rangers, for example? Based on the oddity of the AL this season, posting such a stat does feel misleading to me. 🤷🏽

@EsotericCandy @SharpStats17 Its early and not damning yet, but it is something thats gonna be talked about if it goes for another series or two. You could just as easily say the only struggles the yankees had all season were when they played the only 2 “good” teams on their schedule.

@BrentMcKee @Noirchick1 I was trying to do a clean and quick through line, plus while I think it’s fine, I’m not partial to “Young and Innocent” and wouldn’t have it on a list of Hitch recs unless it an exhaustive chronological plow through. Hell, I don’t actually adore any of his versions of TMWKTM. 🤷🏽

@EsotericCandy @Noirchick1 That formula actually includes “Young And Innocent”. “North By Northwest” used an idea that Hitchcock introduced in “Notorious”, the “whore for the government”. He couldn't have Ingrid Bergman have an affair with Claude Raines so there married the two but the idea is the same.

@pamsson Well there was that ONE game against Boston, but otherwise, yeah. Looking forward to seeing Rodon but not expecting it to be great first few times around (but hoping otherwise). Warren was due for a clunker but he’ll bounce back fine I think. And hoping Weathers recovers soon.

For as great as the Yankees’ rotation has been so far, the fifth spot has been horrendous between Gil and Elmer. Just poor pitching every time that spot has come up. (I think ERC will be good down the line.)
