My major Essendon takeaway from the weekend was it was only four quarters of football. The smallest of sample sizes. And we have 88 quarters left. It's true what they say: things are never as bad as they seem.

@CalTwomey How do you administer it? A player can “fake” a pass. Or pretend they were going for a goal and instead kick it short into the pocket to waste time, but claim it was a pass.

Reminded me of the Crows game in round 2 last year when we conceded 160 points. The team defence was non-existent. Not many positives out of tonight unfortunately

@Kyptastic1 What I’m worried about is that Scott went ultra defensive after the Crows game (in terms of conservative possession football) which ultimately did us no good in the long term. He’s got to stick with it
