This guy is fast becoming my favourite. Yes there are young potential stars in this team but I bet every one of them stand taller going into battle with blokes like him. You need your heart and soul battlers in every team.

Yeah, he sent DP3 back to work on his tackling, and he’s gone to work. He did the same with Huss as well, went back, put in the hard yards, and the results were there for everyone to see on Sunday. It was huge. Solly has clearly laid down the standards and the rules of engagement. If you don’t pressure, run both ways, and tackle, you don’t play. These are the expectations now, and the players will buy into it. As you pointed out too, the celebration of the little things was outstanding. That’s the type of team-first culture you want to build.

Yeah, it was huge, buddy. He almost won the game for Vic Country in his draft year after taking a mark on someone's head with a minute to go in the goal square and kicking what looked to be the match winning goal, only for it to be taken away by a 50-metre penalty being paid to the opposition. They ended up winning after the siren, I believe. He clearly thrives in the big moments. But as you said, it's the one-percenters and his willingness to dig in, compete, and fight for his teammates that have impressed me the most.

@PatrickRyen I agree mate. Couldn’t believe how much size he put on. That mark he took in Q4 which resulted in the Huss tackle and Robey goal was unbelievable.
