Since the mid-20th century, the Technology and Communication Oligarchs' goal has been to dominate all sources of TV broadcasting and later Internet media, using financial acquisition or choking off any and every alternative media voice.
WHY? Wealth and Power, linked to an amoral Agnosticism. HOW? They seek to create and totally control the NARRATIVE landscape. In their belief system, it’s the narrative that fundamentally shapes all Social Reality and makes possible a ‘heaven on Earth’.
Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter/X drove them nuts. Freedom of speech or thought runs contrary to their goal mentioned above. Consequently, their counter strategy has been to create dozens of accounts (flood the zone), whether on X, YouTube, or wherever, and use millions of promotional dollars to dominate. As a last resort, they will surreptitiously hack algorithms to keep their narratives in front of the public’s eyeballs.
This partisan secular ideology arose during the second half of the 19th century* and came into clear focus during the decade of the 1960s.
